Standing Tall and Talented - Nickname of Amare Stoudemire, third year player (at this writing) of the Suns. However it's a rarely used nickname, since his first name is so original.
"Stoudemire, number 32, drives the baseline and serves up the facial!"

STAT stands for Standing Tall And Talented, and is a nickname for NBA basketball player Amare Stoudemire. He inherited this name from the tattoo on his right arm that reads 'STAT', and the nickname suits him very well as he stands at the height of 6'10, and is one of the most talented basketball players out there. Amare plays for the Phoenix Suns (the best basketball team in the NBA) and with Steve Nash (another Suns player) he will be able to lead the team to a championship.

Stat has a variable amount of meanings. If it is used as an insult to another person it means the person who is saying this word is extremely jealous of another person in the areas of female sexuality. The derivative of this word comes from the early 21st century by a poetic Chris Blain attempting to make an insult on a Royer, see definition. Since Royers cant be insulted the term changed to a more acceptable meaning.
"Shut up stat!". Meaning shut up its not my fault you get more girls then I do.

Shortened version of the word statutory. Used to describe a girl that is significantly younger than yourself. Who may or may not be 18 years old.

"Nah man, they are still in highschool. Like they just got their licenses."
"Well a license to drive is a license to ride"
